  • Founder Christy Orr brings a unique blend of grassroots community leadership and hands-on experience in the construction and trades industry.

    Christy’s work began through direct involvement with local community centres in Winnipeg, where she served on volunteer boards and supported organizations in improving how they communicate programs, events, and resources to the families they serve. Through this work, she gained a deep appreciation for the role community centres play in connecting neighbourhoods and supporting local families.

    At the same time, Christy built a strong foundation in the construction and building materials industry, working in exterior finishing and later moving into sales and marketing within the sector. This experience provided valuable insight into how trades professionals, contractors, and suppliers operate and communicate with their customers.

    Together, these experiences shaped the foundation of CORR Social Strategies. The focus is on building clear, practical digital systems that work for organizations doing meaningful work in their communities, as well as for trades based businesses that value straightforward communication and strong relationships with their clients.
